Hi, we're Derek and Alice! We're the (soon to be) husband-and-wife team behind Spanish Moss Media, a local photography business based in Varnville, South Carolina.

We started Spanish Moss Media because we believe the little moments in life are worth remembering. Whether it's growing families, an engagement, a church event, a child's big game, or simply a season of life you want to hold onto, we're passionate about capturing those moments in a way that feels natural and genuine.

As a husband-and-wife team, we bring two perspectives to every session while keeping the experience relaxed and personal. We don't want your photos to feel stiff or overly posed - we want you to have fun, be yourselves, and walk away with images that genuinely feel like you.

We're proud to be a small, local business serving Varnville, Hampton and the surrounding Lowcountry communities of Walterboro, Yemassee, Fairfax, Brunson and Ridgeland. We offer on-location photography, so whether your favorite spot is your backyard, a beautiful outdoor location, a sports field, or somewhere meaningful to you, we'd love to meet you there.
